Chicago, IL - On March 2, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, New Home Star was a champion-level sponsor of The Because Challenge by Commission 127, a 1.27-mile inclusive experience replicating the challenges kids face in foster care.
New Home Star had the privilege of hosting an activity booth at this event and encouraging local team members to volunteer in the obstacle course. This initiative adds to the continuation of New Home Star’s Giving Every Moment (GEM) project, a company-wide volunteer and service program created based on the organization’s value of giving in meaningful ways.
