New Home Star Hosts their Ninth Annual March Madnezz Contest

Chicago, IL (April 17, 2025)—On April 4, 2025, March Madnezz, New Home Star’s highly anticipated annual sales competition, officially came to a close. The contest has been a staple at New Home Star since its inception in 2016 and is designed to increase sales performance on all fronts before the start of the spring selling season.

“This competition is one of the cornerstones of our culture, bringing out the best efforts in our teams nationwide,” says Marketing Director Chris Laskowski. “Year after year, we love watching our teams make strides that impress not only our agents but also our builder partners, and this year was no different.”

Drawing inspiration from the popular NCAA basketball tournament, the bracket-style competition separates the company’s national divisions into 32 teams. Sales professionals are challenged to maximize their performance in meeting their sales goals over five weeks. The team with the highest prorated sales-to-goal percentage for each matchup advances to the next round until one victor remains.

We are proud to announce that our Challenger Homes division in Colorado Springs, CO, took first place by more than doubling their sales over their monthly goal. For the grand prize, the champions were given a choice between an ultimate sports package with a gift card, accessories, and a Yeti cooler, perfect for the next tailgate, or a cutting-edge technology package with headphones, an Oura ring, and a hatch alarm clock.
