Chicago, IL - New Home Star hosted its second Quarterly Director Training of the year from May 8-10, bringing every Sales Director, Manager, and Vice President to Chicago for three days of in-depth training. Connecting its executives from coast to coast, attendees participated in the firm’s ‘Master Academy,’ which focused on arming the leadership team with ways they could master the 12 categories of an internal management tool, the Balanced Scorecard.
Gaining insight in each of the 12 categories in the Scorecard, information was shared to training attendees through a wide host of presenters and leaders throughout the organization. Speakers from the company were given the chance to present at this quarter’s training through a detailed application and selection process by a panel of judges. The speaker with the best presentation was awarded an all-inclusive VIP vacation experience to anywhere in the world! All attendees voted for the best presentation directly after the training concluded.
Not only did this quarter’s session provide a more detailed curriculum on the firm’s new Scorecard, but it also gave leaders the opportunity to speak in front of their peers on a topic of choice. The ‘Mastery Academy’ training was designed to equip New Home Star’s leadership team with the best tools, resources, and practices to utilize in their everyday management skills when returning to market.
