Chicago, IL - From February 16-18, New Home Star hosted its Q1 Director Training in Tampa, Florida! This three-day initiative brought together the organization's Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents for rigorous training centered around the theme, “This Is Us,” which focused on digging deeper into the organization's vision, mission, culture, and pathway for the future.
“After putting a pause on our in-person Quarterly Director Training for the past two years, it was an amazing feeling to be back together again with our leadership group,” says New Home Star Founder, David Rice. “The energy was electric, and the passion I see in this group is off the charts.” The program consisted of classroom-style training, break-out groups, collaborative discussions, and an object-based learning activity where leaders were challenged to work as a team to solve various obstacles.
“This year’s first training event was such a special milestone for us,” says New Home Star President, Tom Chisholm. “After a long journey of resilience and determination working apart, we were finally able to safely come together once again and truly tap into the unique culture that shapes our organization.” Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed a dinner cruise and a beachfront award ceremony in which NHS named Kristin Sweezea as the Director of the Quarter for Q3, 2021 and Gary San Soucie as the Director of the Quarter for Q4, 2021.
As the organization continues to grow in 2022, New Home Star is committed to living out its vision, mission, and culture in significant ways to drive the business and its people forward. The firm awaits its second Quarterly Director Training in a few months to keep expanding its operations and offerings for the future.
