Chicago, IL - On April 15, New Home Star hosted its entirely virtual national call night with a new twist. While the firm’s Teleblitz event typically focuses on agents setting as many appointments as possible with prospective buyers, this season’s event was adjusted to accommodate the current state of the housing industry. New Home Star’s Corporate team planned a Kentucky Derby-themed night with a collective goal for agents to call individuals on their backlog and interest lists to touch base and collect Google reviews. The event included virtual raffles with instant prizes and fun surprises to engage and motivate the national team as they participated in the initiative.
“We are amazed at the success experienced during this Teleblitz, and we’re excited to see all the ways the achievements during this event will affect our organization and all those within,” says New Home Star VP of Organizational Development, Keith McKinney. NHS team members were invited to tune into a Zoom live stream hosted by the Corporate Support Office while they ‘dialed for dollars’ via phone calls to their backlog and interest lists. New Home Connect™, the organization’s sales enablement platform, served as the hub where all attendees were able to follow along with the festivities and log their calls and reviews in real-time.
“I am constantly in awe of the ways our national team perseveres and makes the most out of any opportunity presented to them,” says VP of Builder Operations, Mary Lindeman. “Even though many of our events had to be adjusted this past year, the team has never failed to show up and give it their all. Their determination and drive are admirable, and this event was yet another example of that.”
With 446 calls logged and over 125 Google reviews received, the team surpassed their national goal of 300, and the event was a success in more ways than the company anticipated. New Home Star plans to continue hosting the National Teleblitz events each year as a way to increase engagement, live out the company culture, and, most importantly, support agents along their individualized career paths.
