Chicago, IL - In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the release of New Home Star’s added virtual sales resources, the Top Gun tournament was launched to help sales agents become more comfortable with the virtual selling process. The one-of-a-kind competition also helped collect best practices throughout the country to further refine the organization’s collective approach of sales excellence.
The contest was structured over two weeks and was formatted in an elimination-style bracket. As sales agents progressed, they were asked to include new practices into their role-plays they witnessed from peers that were eliminated in previous rounds. In total, over 450 role-play recordings were collected and reviewed by the NHS leadership team. The top seven videos were included in the firm’s video library, and additional training videos were produced to highlight best practices on New Home Connect™, the organization’s proprietary technology platform.
The winner of each matchup was determined by a panel of judges– comprised of organizational leaders, based on the contestants’ execution of New Home Star’s Critical Path training. Each individual role-play was judged on the basis of 20 different categories, ranked on a scale from 1-5 for a grand total of 100 points.
The two champions included Whitney (Washington) and Kristine (Florida) for the Corporate Choice and People’s Choice winners.
