New Home Star ‘Races to the Finish’ During National Teleblitz

Chicago, IL—On August 15, 2024, New Home Star hosted its bi-annual National Teleblitz, which challenged team members to garner community Google reviews and book as many appointments with past prospective customers as possible. With over 730 collective appointments and Google reviews received, the team surpassed its national goal and kicked off incredible selling momentum ahead of the fall months. 

“The race-to-the-finish Teleblitz was successful in energizing our sales teams and the builders they serve,” said Mary Lindeman, Vice President of Business Operations at New Home Star. “We are always looking forward to the next Telebiltz event, where teams nationwide dive into strategic and effective customer service while bringing sales teams together for an evening of fun initiatives. The dedication and effort each member gives is always spectacular.”

In preparation for the event, New Home Star’s corporate marketing team planned a high-energy night filled with games and excitement alongside curated kits that helped each division race to the finish. Team members nationwide participated in a Zoom livestream hosted by Keith McKinney, Vice President of People Development at New Home Star, who was part of the “pit crew” at the Corporate Support Office in Chicago. Racers dialed for dollars throughout the evening by calling their backlog and interest lists. New Home Connect™, the company’s proprietary sales management platform, provided real-time updates on the number of appointments and reviews won in the race. 

“There is nothing like watching teams work together nationally and supporting one another to reach a common goal which pushes them to exceed further than they would expect,” McKinney said.
