MENSA Members Attend Training in Chicago, IL

By Star Report 2 min read

Chicago, IL—From June 4-6, 2024, New Home Star hosted its second consecutive training event of the year for the Mentoring & Education New Sales Associates (MENSA) program members. These individuals were hand-selected by New Home Star executives to help mentor others within their division, especially newly hired employees, as they complete their eight-week training program.

During this in-person event hosted in Chicago, attendees united to learn about their new responsibilities within the program and tour the company’s headquarters in the heart of Elmhurst, IL.

“A mentorship program is vital in shaping teams for success,” says Vice President of Organizational Development Keith McKinney. “MENSA enables us to encourage employees to advance in their careers and take on more leadership and responsibility opportunities, which puts us one step closer to becoming the best new home sales company in the world.”

This is the sixteenth class of MENSA since the company’s inception in 2008. These new members will continue the program curriculum well after the event through a series of training modules that consist of real-world applications and weekly virtual conference calls on various leadership topics.
