Leaders in New Home Sales Attended Training Conference in Chicago

35 sales leaders from 22 markets took part in New Home Star’s Quarterly Director’s Training.

This past week, New Home Star hosted its first Quarterly Director Training of the year. The much-anticipated event brought every director of the company to Chicago to complete three days of extensive sales leadership training.

The training provided at this quarter’s session, ‘All Systems Go,' was centered around mitigating divisional risks and maximizing KPI’s. Some of the key topics covered at the conference included:

  • Maintaining strong COG rates
  • Improving relationships with builder partners
  • Strengthening sales associate engagement
  • Achieving consistent sales goals
  • Ensuring compliance of operations

After the company focused its training last year on operational processes, this year’s session was centered on maximizing sales efforts and taking advantage of one of the hottest markets since the economic recession of 2008.
