Chicago, IL — On April 4, 2024, New Home Star officially completed its most anticipated sales competition of the year: March Madnezz. Drawing inspiration from the famous annual NCAA tournament, this bracket-style competition separates our national divisions into 32 teams, tasking sales professionals with maximizing performance on their sales goals over a five-week period. The team with the highest prorated sales-to-goal percentage for each matchup advances to the next round until one victor remains.
The contest has been a staple of New Home Star tradition since its inception in 2016 and is designed to boost sales performance on all fronts before the official start of the infamous spring selling season. With such a significant contest comes a significant reward - either an ultimate sports package with a custom jersey and fan accessories or a Yeti package, perfect for the next tailgate.
“We look forward to this competition every year, as it shapes our culture and leads to unmatched motivation,” says New Home Star Marketing Director Chris Laskowski. “Seeing teams nationwide pushing hard to reach their goals has led our teams to impress both our builder partners and salespeople every year - this year was no exception.”
With much determination, our Elliot Homes division in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast area took first place by more than doubling their sales over their monthly goal.
