Chicago, IL — New Home Star proudly participated as a corporate sponsor for this year’s Dancing with the Central Oregon Stars, a charity dance competition organized to raise funds for Sparrow Clubs. This nonprofit empowers youth to support children with medical needs through acts of compassion, kindness, and community service.
This year’s competition featured five competing dance couples and, for the first time, two hip-hop squads. Organizers set out to raise $100,000 through ticket sales, individual fundraising, and corporate sponsors. Thanks to the overwhelming response, the competition surpassed that goal by raising $108,000.
Among the performers was New Home Star Community Sales Manager Kris Cavin (pictured). Motivated to support the local Sparrow Clubs, he ranked second in his routine with his partner and won the Shining Star award for raising the most money for this fundraiser.
