Matt Esarey

As Vice President of Sales at New Home Star, Matt Esarey is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the company’s builder partnerships, while overseeing the overall sales operation. With a focus on driving results, Matt leads the team of Sales Directors across multiple regions, ensuring that monthly sales goals are met and exceeded. He plays a key role in spearheading continuous sales training, recruitment initiatives, and fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.

 

Since joining New Home Star in January 2014, Matt has held various management and director-level positions, gaining deep expertise in sales operations and leadership development. His experience spans building high-performing teams, cultivating strong sales cultures, and mentoring and coaching sales leaders to achieve excellence.

 

Matt is passionate about developing talent, leading by example, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential both personally and professionally. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. Outside of his professional life, Matt enjoys outdoor activities such as trail running, fly fishing, and backpacking, and values time spent with his wife and two children.
