Becca Lam

Marketing

As Lead Graphic Designer, Becca balances her typical design workload with her leadership responsibilities on a daily basis. She is relied on to create high-level designs for Star Marketing, ensuring the best possible client brand integrations and successful design implementation. For NHS initiatives, she has taken lead on branding and design for a variety of events, as well as serving as support and guidance for the other designers when they take on lead. Additionally, she assists our Creative Manager with mentoring the designers as well as with selecting and onboarding new hires.

Becca's ultimate driving factor has always been to design for good; some of her favorite SAMI projects to work on are those partnering with local charities or small businesses. She also enjoys keeping up with the latest design trends and staying active in the local design community as a Chicago chapter member of the American Graphic Institute of Arts (AIGA).

She has been with New Home Star for nearly four years and has gotten to work on a large array of projects. When she's not designing, most of Becca's free time is spent on the dance floor, and you can find her performing on stage with some Chicago-based dance teams.
