The holidays are quickly approaching and so is the 2017 NAHB International Builder's Show, one of the largest construction conferences in the world. This year's show will be held in Orlando, Florida from January 10-12, 2017 and will host more than 60,000 attendees. IBS offers a variety of amenities such as 550,000 square feet of exhibits featuring the hottest products and services on the market, over 160 sessions taught by industry experts, and the opportunity to network at a series of upscale events.

You definitely don't want to miss this show -- but if you must, here are four ways to keep up with the greatest happenings at this year's IBS:

1) Follow NAHB's Official Social Media
Social media has become essential during the biggest conventions around the world. Utilize Facebook and Twitter by following NAHB's official IBS page (as well as their main account). Don't forget to keep tabs on this year's official hashtag, #IBSOrlando. Follow this hashtag for live-tweeting by a number of companies, new sources, and attendees throughout the show's three days.

2) Monitor Major Industry Publications

This event is known for having attendance from the most reputable reporters in the industry. They'll be covering this year's best stories, exhibits, and trends. Be on the lookout for articles from major industry publications such as Builder Magazine.

3) Keep Up With The Celebrity Guests
Each year, IBS invites numerous Hollywood names. This time around, legendary quarterback Peyton Manning will be the keynote speaker for the opening ceremony! Other stars in attendance will include Josh Temple of House Crashers, George Oliphant of NBC's George to the Rescue, and even rapper/DIY Network host Vanilla Ice. In addition, the conference's House Party and Spike Concert will feature performances by popular country music group, Little Big Town. Follow these celebrities' social media accounts to stay up-to-date with their IBS involvement!
